Business Programs

The Gardena One-Stop Business and Career Center use the most cost-effective strategies to build a world-class workforce to be matched with quality businesses and jobs that are attracted to the local labor market. One Stop Centers help employers find workers and job seekers find employment and provide those services at NO COST.

Subsidized Labor Programs:

Transitional Subsidized Employment Program: Hire an entry level worker through the SBWIB and the SBIWB will cover a large portion of the employee’s wages for 8 months or up to 10 months for non-profit organizations!
On-the-Job Training (WIOA Program): Hire a permanent employee ($11-$20/hr range) through the SBWIB and the SBWIB will reimburse up to 75% of the wages up to 6 months for on the job training.
Hire an Intern: Student workers are available for summer jobs and year round part time work.
