GARDENA ECONOMIC BUSINESS ADVISORY COMMISSION

The Gardena Economic Business Advisory Commission's mission is to support economic initiatives that encourage a business and job friendly environment and to attract and retain businesses that will enhance Gardena’s economy viability, financial stability, and advance the general well-being of the community.

The Commission consists of eleven members from the business community within the City of Gardena. The current members are:

GEBAC GOALS

Assist with the development of economic opportunities and relationships that are consistent with the Economic Development Action Plan and the character and culture of Gardena

Provide an open forum for effective collaboration between GEBAC members and the City

Strengthen the relationship between the City and the business community

Support retention and attraction of diversified tax base for the long-term viability of the City

Provide support on issues affecting the economic viability and quality of life in the City

Review City business practices and programs to ensure the City of Gardena remains business-friendly

Through the efforts of GEBAC acting as key influencers throughout the community, GEBAC has been successful in their endeavors to attract and retain business throughout Gardena.
